International Leader in Digital Signage and Kiosk Content to Provide Tradeshow Wayfinders and Announce New Product Release at Digital Signage Expo
Chicago, May 2007— For the second year, Prism Technologies, Inc. will provide seven proprietary, data-driven Wayfinder Interactive Digital Signage kiosks for use throughout the Digital Signage Expo floor and sessions area, as well as in the Prism Technologies Booth #1100 at Digital Signage Expo 2007, May 15 to May 17, 2007 at the Navy Pier Exhibition Center, Chicago, IL.
When used at the 2006 Digital Retailing Expo, tradeshow organizer Chris Gibbs, Executive Vice President of ExpoNation LLC, said, “This application demonstrated how interactive technology is used to inform and direct customers more effectively than ever before. Based on the positive response we received at the show, we plan to continue using Prism’s Interactive Wayfinding solution in future events.”
Prism’s innovative patent pending interactive Wayfinder solution on a large touch screen for tradeshows (in addition to shopping malls, public venues, corporate and university campuses, and more), provides trade show information as a customer self-service, and gives the opportunity to earn revenue through advertising, alliance marketing, and sponsorships. Show attendees have the ability to search for exhibitors on various criteria, find a specific company booth with a visual representation of how to get there (shown on display), view calendar of events & schedules, and review details on sessions and workshops. Exhibitors have additional marketing, sponsorship, product announcement, and lead generation opportunities on the Wayfinders. Prism Technologies delivers compelling content on the right technical platform, to help clients achieve an enhanced customer experience.
After utilizing the Wayfinders at the Georgia Minority Diversity Council’s Opportunity Expo in 2006 and 2007, President George Lottier said of the Wayfinders, “You have the ability to help people find booths quickly, and a way to raise revenue -- you can increase productivity by being more interactive. I would highly suggest you give this product a chance.”
The Wayfinder kiosks will feature new enhancements such as the capability to play context-driven video spots, What’s New section, and the ability for attendees to request company information by email (lead generation).
In addition to hosting a press briefing and free workshop at the Digital Signage Expo, GV Iyer, CEO of Prism Technologies, Inc., will unveil details about the anticipated June 1, 2007 launch of a web portal for all tradeshow Wayfinding implementations that gives trade show exhibitors a central place to manage all media buy across several tradeshows, and offers tradeshow managers a central place to update tradeshow specific information. The portal also offers secured payment options for exhibitors. Prism will also release Version 6.0 of its interACT Media Player and the interACT Control Panel on July 2, 2007.
